While I agree with you that the distribution of Leronlimab is muddled, I do not believe that the coming administration would agree to the idea that they seize the intellectual property. First there are international treaties and US law that govern intellectual property and seizure of the Leronlimab intellectual property could provide other governments with justification to do similar actions. Second the intellectual property to manufacture Leronlimab is also inSouth Korea.with Samsung. Would they use that intellectual property to start replicating Leronlimab independently? I don’t know. And from what I understand not all of the chemicals required for manufacturing the drug are US based.
I have previously briefed President elect Biden on other matters. I believe he will not invoke some form,of national sovereignty on the Leronlimab production but rather heed international conventions and have his people negotiate US share of current inventory and pitch hard for a large share of the coming production.
