BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 2004--Univec, Inc. (OTCBB: UNVC) a pharmaceutical, auto-disabled and safety syringe specialty healthcare organization finds an e-prescription solution for its Physician and Pharmaceutical (PPSI) division.
David L. Dalton , President and CEO of Univec stated. "Univec is pleased to form this alliance with eMedRx as a solution for our StarterScript program. Electronic medical prescriptions will reduce prescription errors and allow physicians to transmit legible, safe and fast prescriptions. The additional security provided by the eMedRx technology will capture the physician's biometric signature for the protection of the patient's privacy and provide a secure authenticated transmission to the pharmacist."
