Tomorrow is an exciting day and I'm not just saying that because I have Black Slate Porrera waiting for me at home.
The Black Slate Porrera is a blend of 20-30 year old Garnatxa and Carinyena with a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon that is aged in neutral barrels for 12 months
It's a personal fave and I don't know about you but I've always preferred my barrels neutral and my ladies right-winged. And no, that's not a political statement. I like a prehensile-winged lady who is right handed.
Also called "feather hands" or "wing digits", you wouldn't be off base to think that banning some people from googling "prehensile wing" would be a smart move.
But I digress.
I've finished my wine and have just gone down to the Ruth's Chris attached to my hotel to grab another glass. This time it's an Unshackled Cabernet by the Prisoner folks. I splurged for the 9oz pour because I shorted the stock today for a profit of $32. Sure, I had fees of $42 but don't let that small detail dissuade you from thinking I'm brilliant. With fancy accounting this glass of wine was free!!!
Here's the thing. A lot of those Sykes followers are just gamblers who need an outlet and an audience. They're posting about making $16 or losing $6. They're trying to gamble each day in hopes that someday soon they'll have earned enough to rig their Harley to idle at 4000 decibels.
Look, everyone has their own comfort level when it comes to investments. Their own goals when it comes to success. My goals for CYDY are as follows:
Covid approvals > New couch and kitchen backsplash > HIV Approvals > Landscaping and a beach house lot > NASH partnership > Beach house and retirement > Cancer approvals > F-You money > Stroke and/or Alzheimer's approval > Paying people to fight each other...
I still can't say definitively whether or not tomorrow will be a big step or a small step in the right direction. I just know it'll be like every other call. Positive guidance and confidence. Just how far forward we've moved is up for debate but we will absolutely have moved forward. And as someone who is prepared to pay strangers to participate in my own private Kumite, I can't freaking wait.
