At $6,350 out of pocket, it reverts back to small co-pays
This may not work if you have a chronic illness that requires lifetime regiment of expensive drugs, but for a non-chronic catastrophic illness, for $21/month I think it is a good deal. In 2018 my wife was in the hospital for tests. Our total 2018 medical costs (hospital/doctors/meds etc.) was over $40,000 but I only had to pay under $800.
