Right, for example, my wife has been on Zoom meetings 2 or 3 times a week since the pandemic started. She said that the (minor) problems they encountered early on have been pretty much resolved and hasn't complained about anybody hijacking any meetings.
If past is any guide, the re-sellers are going to want or need to do their own testing. Then the potential customers will want to do the same. And it's not like the competition hasn't been striving to upgrade their software either. A classic case of a solution for which there really isn't a problem.
