Thanks, Hy, I did see and appreciate your post. Hearing someone had found out about us "out in the wild" was nice to hear! Hopefully he/she is on board and spreading the word...
I guess my thoughts on vaccine announcements could boil down to two basic options for discussion purposes:
1) Things have not gone as well as expected. Joe is stalling to get more data or let some other pieces come together. I sincerely doubt this is the case, but we don't know that for sure yet.
2) Things are moving along, and Joe has a (hopefully professionally-guided) strategy for releasing information. This may be influenced by deals, listing factors, etc.
Either way, clamoring for more information is not going to influence Joe's timing or strategy for releasing information. So, IMHO, we are better off spending our energy on productive discussions instead of letting our (admittedly highly-coiled spring of) expectations and impatience get the best of us.
I, like many on this board, have huge hopes and expectations. But I think a little distance did me some good. And I will probably try to carry that thru New Year's, unless there is new info put out.
