Unsure. I would assume the vaccine will provide an immunity from someone becoming infected/re-infected. That would include your nose/throat, since infectivity would only occur with the absence of antibodies. Perhaps a booster shot would be required every so often to sustain immunity. We also have to take into account heard immunity, which would further lower infectivity rates. If I am correct, the jury is still out on whether or not you can get re-infected by Covid if you've already had it.
Now, if Covid acts similar to the Flu, in which it mutates seasonally, then seasonal shots would occur, and the vaccine would provide a temporary immunity. I really don't know though. We can only speculate since Covid is new to the field and vaccines haven't been rolled out yet.
