Hello Dr P! Wondering if you have a theory about why Leronlimab lowered plasma viral load in Covid patients, when Covid doesn’t use CCR5 as a co-receptor like HIV...? And does maraviroc lower Covid plasma viral load as well? Thank you for your work!
Leronlimab restored CD8 T-cells and increased Granzyme A to better clear virally infected cells. It also inhibits Treg cells and repolarizes macrophages which both enhance the immune response against infected cells. #incelldx #COVID19
