Thrifty, I agree with you and all the others that are saying that the fda and other regulatory agencies in the USA are sitting on their respective hands.
Over the past several years or more, the way these agencies act, I and many of my friends who are nurses and doctors feel and have felt that the fda, nih, cdc, etc., don't want to cure anything or stop the many diseases that plague our society. They just want to manage the diseases otherwise, the pharmaceutical companies can't continue to make money if cures are found.
I really believe in this outcome and so many people are starting to see this scenario. If you bring cures to stop these diseases, big pharmas & doctors won't have the business they are so used to having now and in the past if they allow drugs to cure the many diseases out there. No one will need to go to the doctor and big pharma companies will have cured many of these diseases so why would they do that? They all will not make the money their accustomed to making.
If all that read what I've said here, please comment. We are in an enterprising country or a capitalistic society, money talks and BS walks so why cure the people, just manage them to keep the money flowing. They don't give a crap about saving lives. Look at what's happening to small companies that have great molecules like our Leronlimab which I am heavily invested in for almost 5 years.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a sadist, I want better drugs, not just wanting to make money off this investment. I am tired and mad as hell at the fda for not bringing forward the best in class MAB's that REALLY work, not insufficient or half ass antivirals or Mab's that just help manage (there's that word again, manage), just one phase of the virus or the invisible enemy that continues to lurk among us and will most likely continue until the efinen-d-a really changes their culture to NOT just manage diseases but stop the diseases.
Sorry for the rant but this culture has to change and the time is now!
