The post-Thanksgiving COVID rise is real and has already begun. I diagnosed a few patients with COVID today who traveled across the country, via airplane, to see family for the holiday. The fact that Christmas and New Years is only 4 and 5 weeks away means they’ll likely be an elevated level of cases until at least the end of January.
