Assumption as to why ZNOG is going up
Post# of 1012
When MJ-1 was not commercially successful, Zion conducted a 3D Seismic Survey.
-- 3D Seismic Surveys are more accurate at locating oil reserves.
-- After reviewing survey, Zion decided to buy an oil rig.
-- Zion's oil rig has now been unloaded in Israel and is on way to site.
Questions:
-- Why did Zion buy an Oil rig?
-- Why are they drilling in exactly the same spot?
Speculation:
Perhaps the 3D Seismic results provided the information that would validate the purchase of an oil rig because they foresaw an extended need for it in multiple drillings to fully access what they saw in the 3D Seismic.
Maybe they found what they were looking for.
That may be the speculation of the buyers.
This is all speculation and assumption.
Commentary:
To the best of my knowledge, Zion has not yet discussed the results of the 3D Seismic Survey. Assume it must have been good because they purchased a rig to drill from the same MJ site. Why else would they be so bold?
If the 3D Seismic did not show anything, why would they buy a rig and drill from the same site?
SPECULATION ONLY!!
