I can get to the 1600's in most of my tree by the 10th generation. Family keep good records. Haven't done much work in 10 years filling in the rest. Both parents had royal bloodlines. It wasn't until the late 1800's these family married out of a select group for families. They were pioneers. Groups of 200 would move together.
