One of my patients , VP at Pfizer whom is also the scientist in charge of global distribution of their new vaccine was in my office and about slapped me when I told her my hesitation to get vaccinated.
I hve known her for over 20yrs and trust and adore her and family. Told her my anger and frustration with our FDA and then jumped on BP and how they would keep our molecule from coming out. She was shocked to hear me talking like this and said ....BP is me and scientists like myself who are completely honorable and dedicated to science and would never allow the company to pull crap like we have been discussing to death on this board.
She said prior to her employment at Pfizer she may have believed that as well but she was beyond certain that things like this won’t fly with over 9k employees watching over things. We can leave this debate for another time but it did give me some comfort to talk to her.
So I asked her about their vaccine and how safe she thinks it is ?? She said the amount of antibodies generated after the injection was outstanding and way beyond what they had hoped and since it is an MRNA it doesn’t pose any danger and is very safe since we are not injecting the virus or a weaker version of it there is no way to be infectious.
They plan to sell it for 10$ a shot I believe. She also said that Pfizer didn’t receive a penny from OWS and used 2 billion of their own money to be independent and stay away from politics which I found refreshing.
Their vaccine has to be kept at -90 degrees which may make it harder to develop store and administer.
I was sad but not surprised she had not heard of leronlimab nor cytodyn so I decided to enlighten her by sharing some of our research and short summaries.
She said her CEO was one of the pioneers with monoclonal antibodies and she would share the info with him since they are in contact several times a week. Not sure what comes out of this but hopefully something positive.
