Come to think of it, you're right because so far this year there have only been 17 cases of regular flu in Canada.

They attribute that to people washing their hands, social distancing, using hand sanitizer, and wearing masks.

There is a lesson to be learned here in the years going forward once Covid-19 is gone. The sanitation steps we have been taking should be something we always do. Except maybe for wearing masks.
