What? something like 150 people in the trial got covid. around 7 were vaccinated and 143 were placebo.
They almost literally can't do better than that.
Today's environment cuts both ways. There is more virus circulating, thus the trial participants experienced greater number and intensity of exposures than if the virus was at a very low level in the community.
