95% Efficacy is Great! Testing Totally Unreliable without NNLX
Praying that this is our time to no longer languish under the radar. I still live in Illinois only because I love my doctors. If I could take them with me, I would head for Eastern Tennessee in a heartbeat.
Just need to vent to my friends about COVID from the 1,000 foot level.
COVID Reporting Reality is not on the radar. Without more detailed data, we can't begin to understand what treatments work and which ones do not.
Concerning testing
Who's test did people take?
Reliability factor of that test?
Modify testing results by reliability factor and now we have a more accurate positivity statistic. But even then, we are doing more testing, so positivity statistics are of very little help.
Contact Tracing is irrelevant.
Unless your psychic it it impossible to with 100% accuracy know where, when, and from whom the virus was contracted. Here is an example. Ran errands all day yesterday. Went to Costco for gas, Hobby Lobby for crafts, Menards for new firewood holder, Sam's for blueberries, dry cleaners for cleaning, 3 banks for safety deposit boxes, Meijers for more food and stopped by church to drop off tithe checks. So tell me, if I come down with the virus, where did I pick it up?
What to do if you have symptoms
There are no directions, so people wait until they have little chance of survival before seeking medical attention which ideally needs to be administered within the first 24 to 48 hours of onset.
More REAL COVID statistics are needed
How many new hospital admits have COVID
How many days ago did they start with symptoms
Early treatment makes a difference.
How many COVID patients moved from general beds into ICU
How many direct admits to ICU
How many deaths
Without underlying disease
By type of underlying disease
Duration of hospitalization
How many COVID ICU Hospital beds are available
Without these basics, we have no clue. How do researchers do studies for the CDC that show treatment options don't work, when California Irvine has statistics and live patients to prove that they do?
