KS was a jury trial. Closing arguments are given by both sides prior to the jury receiving instructions from the Judge. Next the Judge releases the jury for deliberation in the jury room. When jury deliberation reaches an agreement the bailiff is called asking for more information or they "HAVE REACHED AN AGREEMENT". It does not go on or delayed for "Months" as the example of February. Once the Jury reaches a "Verdict" the Jury Foreman fills out the paperwork for the Presiding Judge and makes the call to the Bailiff notifying the Bailiff the jury has reached a verdict or requires additional information. The Jury is reseated in the Courtroom and the Jury Foreman when asked by the presiding Judge "Has the Jury reached a verdict, presents the sealed packet to the Bailiff and the Bailiff delivers to the Presiding Judge.
FYI, I have been a Jury Foreman 4 times and sat on 2 other jury,s in my lifetime. From Capital Murder to Fraud. Additionally I was selected for a Federal Grand Jury.
That has provided me with many experiences.

I think there is something more to this and has absolutely nothing to do with filling the "FINANCIALS"
