The FDA has approved all manner of poisons, but even they recognize that prescribing a medication like Remdesivir, with established hepatic & renal SAEs, should NOT be used in severe/critical CV19, which often presents with liver/kidney damage. It's the same logic with HCQ and cardiac issues.
