Hey all. I'm one of those lurkers on this board that hardly ever posts but always keeps up with this board. Wanted to share something. My mom is a nurse manager at a Los Angeles County hospital affiliated with UCLA Medical Center. Because of this I've been telling my mom to reach out to Dr. Otto Yang or do whatever she can to try to get leronlimab at her hospital. We've both been invested in Cytodyn since 2016. Today she told me that she just so happened to walk into a room where there was an ongoing zoom meeting and she heard two doctors discussing leronlimab and the prospects of bringing it to the hospital. I was glad to hear this and I told her she's got to go bug these doctors to get them to bring it in! So the good news is that awareness of the drug is spreading. I'll keep you guys posted if there's any update.
While I'm here, I'll chime in my 2 cents. My first post on this board was to discuss what I thought was a big issue for this company - that they did nothing to spread awareness about the fact that the company even existed. Covid has been a blessing in this regard and I'm so glad everytime I hear that a new hospital is being added as a trial site. I have no knowledge about the medical industry but the way I see it is the fact that all these new hospitals/doctors now know about leronlimab, when they otherwise would not have if it weren't for covid, these hospitals/doctors can be used to help fill our cancer trials and other trials. If I was Nader I'd maintain all these new connections with these hospitals/doctors and when the times right have them help enroll our basket cancer, long hauler and other trials. How can a doctor say no to this drug once they're familiar with it?
