GM Salty - I meant to direct a post your way yesterday to ask you to request a moratorium on political posts today - Veterans Day. We used to set aside this day to honor the men and women who served our great country - and, sometimes lost their lives - and their families who supported them during their deployment and for many years afterward. Our family lost some members in various wars and on 9/11 and I'm sure many other bridge board families did, too. So, can we please put our political differences aside for at least one day and stop attacking all people serving our country either in government and/or the various military branches - and, each other?
On more of a long term note, I ask you, Salty, to consider requesting/insisting that all political posts be done on the political debate board. Let's return "the bridge" to the informative and fun board it used to be. Let's post about OIL and tickers and music and personal fun things that we do in our everyday lives and eliminate the BS personal attacks on each other and all politicians (I doubt any of them are reading posts on the bridge or give a crap about what board members think). I'm sure we all have enough stress in our daily lives that we might welcome a respite from it with some cheerful banter here.
