I’ll take one more whack at this. Here is the problem with your criticism.
If you’ve been a shareholder for 12 years than you know more than most, and at least as much as anyone, that shareholders have no leverage over Steve. He is not about to put his finger in the air to test shareholder sentiment about the direction and management of the company. He is internally directed, guided by his own design and vision. Shareholders are along for the ride.
So what is the point of your criticism if it is not intended for Steve? Are you venting? Are you venting at our expense? Of is it more nefarious? Do you hope to drive investors out, the price down, while you stay in? Why criticize if there is no possibility of it serving a constructive purpose?
And then there is the question of why now? With all that is coming out of the UK through our partnership with Innova, it looks for all intents and purposes that we are finally about to realize some of our vast potential. What we've have been waiting for all these years. Why launch into a barrage of criticism, teeing off on Steve, at this particular moment? Why now?
Your appeal to ignorance of what’s going on in UK to justify your criticism doesn’t wash. That is virtually all this board has been talking about for the past several weeks over dozens of postings. Trying to unpack the nuance of our partnership with Innova — markets, government outreach, revenue, bundle of revenue streams, etc.— through third party validation.
Sure, we would all like this to have happened more quickly. But we also realize that we are part of a generational opportunity. We are in for the big play. It is not just that Steve is creating a new industry, but that he is applying the technology to the invention of products as he goes along. This is not about marketing something off the shelf.
To me gratuitous criticism is what separates this board from the other board. Now that we are getting down to it, I am impressed by how knowledge-based and informative the postings on this board have become, even more than usual. It is rewarding to be a part of this.
