You understand the proper reasons why and so do I. I didn't want to buy now due to other priorities but my wife listed the gun show date on the calendar. She is wanting something smaller than what she has now and was talking about a S&W Easy. Looks fine but I like my G27 but had that since the 90's. I'm looking or thinking about a P365 or a Hellcat for "easier" carry but even looking at that S&W Easy might be fun but think about dependability if I really had to ever defend myself. I mean my Glock is old but you can count on them. I also wonder about +P loads. As for my little 27 I bought a after market Barsto barrel so if I wanted to shoot lead I could but never did use lead. As for the barrel I spent 2 weeks fitting it. I was off of work due to a surgery back in 1996, had plenty of time to play with this stuff...on a side note...I have always love the smell of the gun cleaning chemicals....at any rate as to my G27 it isn't comfortable to carry too thick and is one other reason I want to buy again....must go outside and re-seal paint fascia boards.
