There have been some questions on the board regard

Most Longs on this board agree that if Brilacidin is successful in upcoming human trials that the upside for IPIX SP is enormous. Most of us have no issue with paying our fair share of taxes but also do not want to pay any more taxes than necessary.
Anyone who follows my posts know that I am extremely bullish on the future of IPIX. None of us can predict where IPIX SP will be at any given point in the future but for sake of example I will skip ahead to early January and assume IPIX has announced strong B-CV19 interim results from the upcoming human trial and SP spikes to the $3-$4 range. (This is an example not a prediction!) Emergency and Compassionate Use approval will happen at that time if not well before. A large government grant, huge US and international orders for Brilacidin and follow-on B-CV19 Phase 3’s (both as a standalone and combo treatment) could all take place simultaneously.
By this time next year Brilacidin could be a fully FDA approved drug for CV-19 and additionally could be prescribed off-label for many uses. These non-CV19 uses may have various Phase 3 trials spun off for fast track approval. At this point the Brilacidin Franchise will have enormous value and IPIX will have been up-listed off of the criminally controlled OTX. As I have mentioned I personally believe that an epic short squeeze could take place as the criminals have dug an enormous naked position that places them between a rock and a hard place. As the science progresses there will be more investor demand far beyond the relatively small amount of retail volume that our current relatively miniscule IPIX shareholder community can provide. Once the general investment public begin to jump on the IPIX bandwagon the criminals will have to either continue to dig their own grave deeper and deeper with more naked shares or they will have to allow IPIX share price to BEGIN to organically run. IMO the epic short squeeze will take place between $5 per share and $20 per share range. Any naked covering before that point would overwhelm volume on the demand side and cost the criminals even more multiple millions in real money losses. Remember that in order for the criminals to cover their naked vapor shares, they need to buy real shares at a price that real investors are willing to sell at. These events could spike IPIX SP easily past $20 per share.
An even longer term horizon could see multiple license deals for multiple instances of Brilacidin and perhaps a colossal entire Brilacidin franchise licensing deal. I also believe that the Kevetrin science will advance as funding and dilution become non-issues for IPIX. These longer term events could drive IPIX SP to levels that are currently hard to fathom but a three figure share price could definitely be on the table by the time Leo decides to sell the company.
If you believe any of the above events could indeed happen then where do you park your IPIX shares? For EXAMPLE ONLY I will use the current purchase price of 22 cents and a sell price of $10.22 at some point in the future.
Regular liquid brokerage account – For every 100k shares of IPIX at 22 cents you would currently pay $22k. For every 100k shares sold in this example at $10.22 you would get $1,022,000 or a $1M capital gain. Assuming our friends in DC don’t change the laws dramatically and it was at least one year between your buy and sell, you would pay 20% in long term capital gains tax. $200k is a hefty tax bill but netting $800K on a $22k investment is not too shabby. The downside is that you pay Uncle Sam a big chunk of money but the upside is there are no restrictions of when and how you use your money.
ROTH IRA – This is a great vehicle IMO for an investment with huge upside. The downside to a ROTH is that many people do not qualify depending on income levels. One option is to move money from a regular traditional IRA to a ROTH and pay the tax bill today on that transaction based on the current 22 cent SP. It is a pay me now vs pay me later scenario that you need to make and discuss with a financial advisor. Whether you qualify to fund a ROTH within your income range or decide to move funds from a traditional IRA and pay upfront taxes, the end result has some huge advantages. In the same 100k share example selling at $10.22 you would now have over $1M that is non-taxable. Another huge advantage is that current laws allow ROTH IRA funds to be passed on to an heir tax free. There are some investors on this board that not only have many multiples of this 100k share count example but also will be keeping a large percentage of their holdings for a much higher sell price. These Longs will have multiple millions in tax free money. Holding IPIX shares in a ROTH is an excellent way to minimize taxes and a great vehicle for estate planning and wealth accumulation.
Coverdell Accounts – This is a good vehicle for those that want to set some money aside for future education of a minor. There is a limitation of $2k per year donation per child. The upside is that you can buy and sell individual stocks within this account tax free without paying any tax on gains. The designated beneficiary at legal age can withdraw the money for education expenses with zero tax liability. Using the example from above but staying at the $2k per year max you could open a Coverdell account for a grandkid for $2k and at 22 cents and buy a little over 9K shares. Using that same example of a $10/ share sell you could turn a $2k investment into $90k that will be tax free. That is a pretty nice jump start on a higher education investment with a relatively small amount invested at today’s low SP.
Again, I reiterate that I am not a financial advisor and the above is simply for example and discussion sake. I am hopeful that many of us Longs will be in need of professional wealth management and estate planning advice as our wealth increases exponentially in parallel with the upcoming explosion of IPIX SP.
