No Jake, it wasn't how the PR's were crafted, it's how one set unrealistic expectations prior to the PR. Humanigen didn't say anything. NP kept talking about possible halt due to efficacy, by either not knowing or not caring that interim halts for efficacy are very very rare. And then when he had to PR continuation of trial, of course there would be a letdown despite his cheerleading antics that this was fantastic news (which it actually is) and he was in shock & awe of receiving such a recommendation.
NP is TERRIBLE at managing expectations. He sets the tone and when the expectation doesn't come to fuition, he has this high pitch incredulous, agitated sounding tone when asked what happened. Like a father scolding a child "what's wrong with you people why can't you understand..." And the answer is always "but, but that's what you told us."
