The USAF SBIR phase two is my only "hope" as you put it because it is based in reality. A reality that started with a presentation in the DoD/ CO'S office, followed by DISA review then the try before buy simulated day long cyber attack DoD contractors exercise held in Washington D.C which generated the $50K SBIR phase one contract which was then expanded to Phase Two (see gimli's post with link). Yes, this has taken far longer than the normal 18 months for a new, untested item to get through the DOD procurement pipeline. Thanks to our dysfunctional Government's continuing resolutions & shutdown! You have read Mark's post of SFOR'S USAF envolvement on this message board. Let us see if there is any mention of it in the 3Q20 on 11/13 to determine if my "hope" to get our troops the SFOR shield is a forlorn one or not.
