You're right. Four chaplains are memorialized in the stained glass of the Pentagon's Chapel. The troop ship they were on was torpedoed and going down. They selflessly took off their own life jackets giving them to the troops of their flocks (Catholic, Jewish, Protestant) who had none. They were last seen linked arm in arm, singing a hymn as the deck was awash. We remaining longs still aboard the SS SFOR may be going down with our torpedoed ship. Please, let us not turn on one another in our bitterness! Stand together unified and meet the possible end of our investment with a resolve to swim in those "very cold, shark infested waters" until we bravely meet our fate.
