it's a big market and tons of traders buy for lots of different reasons. some buy based on the chart and don't care a whit about fundamentals. others might buy because they see potential for a turnaround. who knows. just don't think that the rest of the world sees everything through the same lens as you or that you or anyone else knows what will happen tomorrow. buy or sell based on what you believe the most likely outcome will be given the present circumstances. the trick is to never be the biggest fool.
