More input on my own personal experience with the

It was if they were saying, we own you now. "You cant go to work or anywhere - you must self isolate until the results come back in 3-5 days" .
After not hearing anything for 7 days I called -result was negative- but they leave you in isolation without even calling.
So thinking covid was off the table visited urgent care again 15 days after onset of what I knew was bacterial infection when no fever or improvement after the first 7 days-never have had a fever throughout this entire scenario.
So second visit nurse says they are going to test for covid again! I said they just tested for covid and test was negative and I have never had a fever etc and self isolated as instructed, so where would I then pick up covid?
The nurse screamed, "Oh, maybe its because we are in the middle of a pandemic". As if she didnt hear what I said. She yelled as if she had just recognized the pandemic but her screaming didnt change my summary[and i was one of only a max of three patients at the place at the time].
If she had her way I would again NOT be treated for bacterial but just endlessly for covid-and I already had bacterial infection for 15 days.
What does that say about their faith in the just concluded covid test??
After an x-ray the Doctor=- not the nurse, who was trying to wag the doctor to block any bacterial treatment, said[ after more than an hour with only one or two other patients there] he would treat for bacterial, even though he said the covid viral load can change over time. Which is apparently saying we dont have full faith in the current covid test.
I understand the allopathic medical system is under stress and for good reason -but things are frustrating for patients also, especially when the obsession with covid prevents treatment for anything else/the actual problem.
Again after not hearing covid results for the second time after 7-8 days I had to call for the results. They had not told me they would only call if the test was positive. I guess I was suppose to self isolate ad infinitum. Just because they dont call doesnt give you assurance. Because you could get lost in the system even under normal circumstances bc humans are so error prone.
Again, this emphasizes the disaster of the current system where you have to wait forever for results -in my case losing 15 days of my life without treatment before they would begin treatment for the actual problem.
Can you imagine the improvement in the patients life and the medical system if a point of care test was available and they could thus begin treatment for the actual problem right away!!! (assuming 7 days had passed to test for bacterial it did on the first visit).
Am I the only one on this board who experienced problems with the current testing protocol???
