Just as a mental exercise, what if the new 'suitor' is indeed a BP and lets just say it is someone like Sanofi, Gilead, or Regeneron.

i'm not LE .. but the *suitor* i'd be courting due to their I/O and YOY%s is Regeneron
suspect LE would be doing a more in-depth analysis than my 5 seconds ..
Quote:
Now let's say the multi-year hedge fund or other (such as another BP that was hoping to buy IPIX out of BK at pennies on the dollar) is indeed sitting on hundreds of millions of naked shorts.
How do you see that playing out? Would that cause a bigger than expected spike or a smaller one? Would it change the way the few seemingly criminal (at least in my eyes) MMs like CDEL and the like play the daily trading game?
imo with sequence of material (to Innovation Pharma) events' filed/PR'd by LE .. and presuming a *significant* abusive short (i'm just using my data from 2018 to Friday) .. i see NR going after every GTC (investors' sells) visible to them via l3 .. until their *ratios* are back in line (% wise) .. and yep imo that will be enjoyable to document
that is why i've noted my expectation of IPIX shattering daily *volume*
if folks remember .. from late 2014 to May 2019 .. there were about 5 days
where IPIX had record setting volume of approx 4M~ respectively for those 5 days .. so on avg 1 (pre 2020) *volume record setting day* .. per year
that 4M morphed to 8M .. then 16M (2019) and in June 2020 (while not 32M) .. these 3 days piqued curiosity
06/19/2020 $0.46 15,514,390 $0.48 $0.535 $0.36
06/18/2020 $0.4355 26,538,330 $0.318 $0.549 $0.3015

GLOBENEWSWIRE – 7:30 AM ET 06/17/2020
you may have noticed i tend to avoid the PPS answer .. because imo it's the volume that is key .. say NR has *accumulated* an abusive deficit since 2018 of 300M~ .. NR has to get some % of that number whole .. because material events will take up both *volume* and PPS
sequence of material news (sans suitor) out of LE .. brings its own stressor
as in *new* eyes (legit buyers) who will want IPIX *shares* .. long time investors
(not talking those who trade) .. imo know the value of what they hold .. and *imo* if LE is remotely *strategic* .. his *goal* will be to retain investors by various methods (including cash div and/or digital token) .. including uplisting (with little notice)
so say X investor holds 250000 IPIX shares and has 4 GTC/s set for 25000 @ $2.50 .. 25000 @ $3.50 .. 25000 @ $4.50 .. and 25000 @ $5.00 .. those 4 GTCs yield 100000 shares (domino up) for NR and said retail investor retains 150000 *shares* for *observing* .. based on what mgmt has to share and how NR handles *events*
remember how AMRN was handled in 2019 .. *imo* NRs' set up/awareness in the summer .. news out of mgmt AH's on a Friday in September .. NR had to open up AMRN the following Monday *significantly higher* (AMRN is also interesting to me due to I/O being somewhat comparable to IPIX's) .. but it wasn't until about 6 to 8 weeks later that NR hit the *first* 52 week high on AMRN (from memory so i may be off .. but it was @ plus $20.00) .. that is NR in total .. play the rigged game always .. work the ratios always .. outlast *targets/investors* .. almost always

In reality, I look at what I expect to attain with my IPIX investment as coming only as a result of the science. Anything due to trading games is icing on the cake and not really even in my thoughts on a daily basis - but when one does think about it a big smile does come to pass.
And to think, without CV19 there is a possibility that those rats could have possibly taken IPIX down and maybe kept Brilacidin from seeing the light of day.
as a few longs here .. i interact with regularly know .. i have no doubts pre C-19 .. NR had every intention of *resetting* IPIX's 52 week low (5c from November 2019's *reset* from December 2018's reset to 7c) in 2020 .. setting up the kill for EOY tax loss selling *posts* by the usual set of embeds
needless to say i find June's 2020 *volume* .. intriguing .. (see PR header above) .. because those 3 days' volume (June 17th to 19th) = 60,899,780 .. imo *tip of the iceberg*
as a reminder
IPIX had YTD volume in 2018 (12 months) @ 88M~ (of which 55M~ was done in the last 4 months of 2018)
kinda of puts some of NRs' various dilemma/s re: IPIX in perspective ..
IPIX YTD (JAN 2019 - DEC 2019) = 124,097,852
IPIX YTD (JAN 2020 - SEP 2020) = 524,227,725
IPIX *Volume* by month 2020 as *reported* to Finra 2020
SEP 2020 ~ 35,785,026 ** matches 2/2020
AUG 2020 ~ 37,279,662
JUL 2020 ~ 68,767,947
JUN 2020 ~ 116,020,124 *** highest in 2020 (legal starts to adjust)
MAY 2020 ~ 51,886,542
APR 2020 ~ 78,324,274
MAR 2020 ~ 86,903,508
FEB 2020 ~ 35,015,032 ** matches 9/2020
JAN 2020 ~ 14,245,610 * lowest in 2020
hope this helps .. but if folks want further info on how AMRN was handled (PPS/Volume/Time Frame) .. i believe the data is contained in the sticky post of mine above ..
