From a prev post of mine - Now, what about these sales reps? Do you think Medi-Launch hired the shy, retiring, wallflower types? No sir, not on your life. They hired smart, highly motivated, type 1-A Alphas, highly experienced people with a solid record of aggressively pursuing leads and making the sale; ideally and most likely in the medical device sector. Not the kind of people who need constant oversight to get going. Imagine 250+ (and counting!) clones of VP of Sales Keith Nalepka.
... these hospital groups are. And for good reason. Big Pharma has made their money with their opioid crap. Now the tide is turning. It does make you wonder, though. All these PhD chemists/biologists couldn't really make the connection between designing a drug using opium and that then resulting in mass addiction with the subsequent damage to patients and families? Not likely. They knew and so did management. More likely they didn't give a damn in the face of massive profits. Kinda like the vaccine makers who have been given, in the early 1980's, complete immunity from prosecution should their vaccines cause any harm. The FDA is supposed to ensure the safety and efficacy but we all should know by now that isn't the case.
Our clearance, imo, did not occur b/c we provided rock solid evidence and the FDA finally came to their senses. Before I continue, allow me to say there are hundreds of dedicated employees who want nothing but the best for all patients. Honorable people, each and every one, who toil day in and day out for what they believe in, wholeheartedly. But they are not part of the revolving door, now are they?
The following is a documentary called 'The Devil We Know'. It's about Dupont and one of their flagship products, Teflon. Spoiler alert - the plaintiffs got nothing. A very similar situation has happened with opioids and the FDA. Paying a fine does not fill the empty seat at the table, nor is it justice. It is perversion.
The good guys, seeking justice on their clients behalf, dealt with the EPA. Just like the FDA, the henhouse is, and always has been, overseen by the wolves. If our clearance had been based solely on the science, we would have followed Canada, cleared for full body musculoskeletal use, ten (10!) yrs ago.

Also falling like dominoes (albeit in a much longer time frame) was the sequence of - our FDA whole body clearance, the re-appearance of Dr. Staelin, and the signing of Medi-Launch to proclaim the wonders of Actipatch and RecoveryRx to the world, medical and civilian alike. Could insurance (including Medicaid/Medicare) coverage (Standard-of-Care) be the next domino? I would love to BIELieve in Coincidence and Serendipity. Too much gray hair for that fantasy. Life, as we know it, always seems to happen in funny, unexpected ways. Dorothy was, and is, spot on correct. We need so many more Dorothys in this flim-flam, p(l)andemic world of ours.
In recognition of all the "in-the-not-so-distant" future BIELionaires, I give you 1,000,000 dominoes falling. Let each domino represent $1.50. (the 0.50 is for taxes, Hah !!)
