I have put up this quote by Mark Twain a few times
Post# of 82672
"It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled"
What we're seeing here is that Mark Kay has captured the spirit of the zeitgeist. Most people are honest, or more honest than not, so when someone comes along who lies all the time, people often have a hard time getting their heads around it.
Some might say that Kay is really only a purveyor of "alternate facts". They make excuses for him, think he's about to change stripes - there are those, who, amazingly, are still looking for him to clarify or explain what's happening here, who think he's basically ethical. The reality is that we're dealing with a stone cold sociopath.
He's a kind of stereotypical sleazy microcap CEO and I hold this lack of originality against him as well as his crimes against shareholders. But that's what you get with a career company man, total inability to think outside the box.
