Let me next say that I think it's great they're announcing some positive effect in stroke and that they plan to go after it. Why wouldn't you? It has been cheap to get to this point and probably won't be that pricy to advance it a little further. Go for it.
Let me then add that you don't have to like it but you can't have it both ways. You can't be annoyed when we don't hear from NP, or when we don't know everything that's going on, and then be upset that we do hear from him and it's not exactly what you'd like to hear. He's doing his best and, to be honest, think of how far along we are in trials for Covid when it really started only 6-7 months ago. It's insane how far we've come.
Let me further add that I too am annoyed that I'm not rich yet. I'm also annoyed that if anyone I know, or my family, gets sick the best we may have are drugs that barely do anything more than yelling obscenities at the virus. I'm close enough to a test site that I know where I'd go, but the vast majority of people don't have that ability.
Let me continue with a reminder that we still haven't seen the science going backwards. Only forwards. If our science was an NBA starting five from my formative years it would be all bigs. Forwards, if you will. Karl Malone, Thurl Bailey, (I lived in Utah for a while) World B Free if I moved him to the 4, Moses Malone, and Rick Mahorn. (Yes, a couple of those guys probably played center at some point but by today's standards they are all power forwards)
Let me finish with a little quote by a president we could all get behind. Millard Fillmore....
"A glass can be both half full and half empty at the same time but if one looks closely he can see how adding or subtracting the tiniest amount of water can alter the resulting view substantially. You see, water is both a delicious and clear fluid. Assuming you don't live in Flint, of course. Don't look at water through rose colored glasses or it will look rosy. Conversely, don't drink the water in Flint. Seriously. It's still gross. #OperationWarpSpeed"
I think we can all take President Fillmore's sage advice in these frustrating times. Have a good night and please try not to twist your nuts into a possible testicular torsion situation for no reason.
(4 beers and a glass of Can Blau so far)
