If indeed this is the reason LL has not been given a EUA even when no official SOC existed (Rem had EOA only) what makes you to believe that the same flawed system managed by incompetent organization will ever allow LL in the market? Statistical significance? C'mon!
Let's say that SD12 results in p-value of 0.00000001 and the power to raise the Founding Fathers from their graves and resurrect again when they die of a heart attack after seeing what this country has become. If the FDA and the system of which it is a part were indeed simply "flawed" and "incompetent" LL would have a decent chance for approval since even they are suckers for miracles. But what if the opposite is true? What if the system is ideal and its agencies are super competent? What if we don't see them as such only because for some silly prejudice that, against all evidence in the world, the system must exist for us, i.e, that it is supposed to pursue the interests of people who have no power whatsoever, have never had it and will never do? In the case of our small collective of the "American Dream" dreamers the system is expected to make us multimillionaires if it's honest and competent. Some esteemed board contributors are likely to protest this statement and accuse me of malicious cynicism if not indirect stock bashing. They will argue that their hopes to become multi millionaires are based on the expectation that the government and its agencies are supposed to protect the lives of the American people, including those who die on ventilator after the "China bug" ate out their lungs. With millions flowing into our pockets as a nice byproduct of good governance and sound investing. But the reality is and has always been that the system of power of which government and its agencies are only external forms has only one goal: to preserve, perpetuate, and expand ITSELF. Everything else is contingent on this. If saving the lives of a 100K-200K or even a million Americans by allowing LL commercialize enhances the system or , at the very least , does it no harm--so be it, the system will be happy to oblige and save you. 'We are not monsters or Ruskies, after all!" However if LL presents a counter systemic risk, if it may explode a number of mainstay rackets of the system, even those that are "too big to fall" and empty even the deepest of the pockets invested in them--then the system has no choice for itself and no chance for those on ventilator. Even if LL promises a miracle of Lazarus for $3000 a piece.
