My guess is NP was a “slot filler” on the broadcaster’s schedule. Fox probably didn’t coach him on particulars of Cytodyn other than what was happening in trials. There is a difference between an investigative reporter and a talking head broadcaster, the later being just the face that presents the news and asks questions of guests.
