What if there is another announcement by some agen

Quote:I suppose that's possible. However, the only "agency" we are currently aware of that is involved in this process is the FDA -- and they don't announce Halts, Approvals or EUAs -- those responsibilities are left to the sponsor company.
What if there is another announcement by some agency that needs to be announced first? They need to announce at 4 p.m. eastern. Then, CytoDyn makes their announcement and CC at 5 p.m. eastern. I know this is being optimistic, but this is no longer a normal CC.
We can hope there is a favorable reason for the delay. Maybe a meeting that was supposed to take place today ran over, or was delayed to tomorrow -- or maybe some agenda is being pushed up the command chain.
However, a one hour delay is not very significant -- a one day delay would be a completely different animal. For example, a one hour delay could be explained by a scheduling conflict with one of the participants, or the need to spend more time on the slidedeck that is being presented during the meeting.
In the end, there's no way to know. And while it is human nature to want to force a round peg of an approval -- into a square hole of uncertainty, I personally am trying to remain neutral so that my expectations are managed. A continuation to 390 with a readout in February will be that much more disappointing if I allow myself to get carried away with a one hour delay.
