Great post and reminder of all that is known about leronlimab and why it remains such an important, albeit temporarily sidelined, therapeutic.
I believe it is pretty much settled that Leronlimab reduces formation of thrombosis. Quite a big deal IMO.
I believe that blockade of macrophage activation prevents their polarization and resultant PGEF and VGEF release, which induce thrombosis.
Ohm20 and others know the science better than I and can correct the details.
Going back to the spring, Patterson noted lack of otherwise expected thrombosis in the leronlimab treated cohort of covid patients.
