This one surprises me for this crowd.
Last week Dr BP tweeted : "Because I can’t get leronlimab We need to do R&D with other CCR5 inhibitors to show the MOA of CCR5 blockade in Cytokine conditions" in relation to the already approved drug Maraviroc (and a post of the big T)
I am surprised this board didn't delve deeper into that tweet. Does anyone else think it's stupid not to allow him access to the drug to do research (in LL's favor) ? If he shows Maraviroc works (in relation to CCL5 and covid) in a paper, thats like shooting yourself in the foot, Cutting off your nose to spite your face etc. Big pharam now get your glory. wow, smart move there.
Maybe he is working around the "politics".
(I know we will go on an on about side effects... but its available now right and if given early whats the bet the dosage will be smaller than HIV?)
