Predetermined p value for trial halt would be a much higher than .05, possibly .005. If p value was .006 or even .01 and Cytodyn didn't submit for EUA it would be a tragedy. The only way for Cytodyn to know that is to unblind the results to the company. NP is adamant they won't unblind to the company except on the DSMC's recommendation.
