“More than 17 million Americans have already cast ballots in the 2020 election, a record-shattering avalanche of early votes driven both by Democratic enthusiasm and a pandemic that has transformed the way the nation votes,” the AP reports.
“The total represents 12% of all the votes cast in the 2016 presidential election, even as eight states are not yet reporting their totals and voters still have more than two weeks to cast ballots. Americans’ rush to vote is leading election experts to predict that a record 150 million votes may be cast and turnout rates could be higher than in any presidential election since 1908.”
4. 21.4 Million as of this morning

These are breaking 78-21 for Biden according to some polling, that means it's probably 16.7 to 4.7 right now, Biden has a 12 million vote lead.
None of the models had a good way to incorporate this into them. Biden could have a 40 million vote lead before lection day.
What this does is take risk out. A James Comey like October surprise 10 days out will be too late to change anything.
21.4 million votes are etched in stone now, nothing that happens from here on out will change them.
7. Well, I think 65 million votes wins it
If Biden has 50 or 60 million before election day he's going to cruise to a landslide.
And another factor too is that with so many Dems voting early, the polls in Dem areas on election day will have much shorter lines than normal. You'll see increased turnout in Dem areas because of it. Perhaps a million people in 2016 saw lines and decided not to vote because they figured Hillary had it won. This time that will be much much less.
