Please feel free to comment. Astra Zeneca and J&J voluntarily "paused" their COVID trials. "Pause" is done voluntarily as opposed to ":hold", which is imposed by the FDA. Since we anticipate unblinding of the CD-12 results this week, can we extrapolate that there were no unexpected events during the trial. It has been reported here that there were 45 deaths in CD-12. I'm not sure if that was verified or just speculation. However, if the trial was not paused or put on hold by the FDA, that would mean those events were not unexpected. Does that make sense?
