Your line of thinking to come to this conclusion makes zero sense. The trial was at 220 patients. So it makes sense that deaths 46-50 happened in patients 196-220. If there were only 35 or 40 deaths in the interim, then there would be 10 or 15 deaths in the 25 patients that came after patient number 195.
