The number of cases and deaths worldwide is still quite high, and in some places rising. The northern plain states in the US are now hot spots. North America is about to head into the cold seasons where people spend more time indoors. A robust treatment is needed as much as a credible vaccine.
The stellar lab results over the last 5 months from RBLs and GMU, who credible independent 3rd parties, and the fact it was stated they are helping with grant application, combined with announcement of the Pre-IND meeting, the hiring of a trial head, and DeGrado coming on board as an advisor... all this tells me the trajectory of the company is heading toward something quite positive.
A randomized double-blind trial of 120 has lots of statistical power, and if the results (even mid-way) are anywhere near what Brilacidin did in the lab, then look out above.
I recognize you from years ago and know you're a good guy. It's tough waiting, but the pieces are falling into place and Leo is being methodical, doing it the right way.
