Eagle Hill School installs ninety-five RxAir® UV-C Light Air Purification Systems
School is first in the country to use RxAir® state-of-the-art purification systems in the classroom.
Eagle Hill School (EHS) became the first school in the country to install RxAir® UV-C Light Air Purifier Systems through its campus. These state-of-the-art filterless air purifier systems are the only FDA Certified Class II medical devices proven to destroy 99.9% of airborne bacteria and viruses, including multiple Coronaviruses, H1N1, MRSA, pneumonia, strep, TB, measles, flu viruses, and the common cold. RxAir also neutralizes odors, indoor pollutants, and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
In partnership with Mr. Steven Rotman, President and CEO of Vystar Corporation (parent company of RxAir and Rotmans Furniture), the school accepted delivery of ninety-five units—enough for every classroom, resident hall, fitness center, dining commons, and other social common areas.
“These are pretty incredible machines that will recycle the air in a classroom once per hour killing bacteria and viruses (including coronaviruses) using UV light,” Head of School Dr. PJ McDonald explained. “This is the only such UV purification machine that is FDA approved, and we are the first school in the country to have them.”
Mr. Rotman personally oversaw delivery to Eagle Hill. As a former board member and father of two children who attended the school, he expressed his desire to help create a healthy and safe environment for the students at Eagle Hill School.
