The preliminary findings suggest confection, flu+Covid, will likely be extremely dangerous, however many people will be wearing masks, whereas that practice was virtually absent in the US previously. Given the flu's shorter infectivity window, this may have a significant and positive effect on flu spread. Very interested to see, as that will likely be the best litmus test for the effectiveness of the various social & physical precautions.
