Quite a few months ago, I can't remember exactly, NP said that to his knowledge none of the HIV patients taking LL had contracted Covid. The latest statistics I found were that there have been 7.2 million Covid cases out of a US population of 330 million or 2.18%.
I don't know how many of the HIV patients who were in the LL trials are still being monitored. (Any help with that would be appreciated.) But if the number is 500 (say) then we would expect 10 or 11 cases of Covid. I have no medical or statistical training to know if the actual number of cases is 0, would that even begin to intuitively hint at efficacy of LL against Covid-19. Any opinions from our esteemed medically sophisticated members?
