When we have been misled and disappointed as many times as we have, I don't consider a "guaranteed 8x from today" to be shortsighted. I consider it a reasonable evaluation of risk and return. Especially because nothing would prevent a shareholder from continuing to invest in Leronlimab in the new company.
In fact, if someone thought that $25 was a "steal", then investing in the buyer would be a great option.
And, please, don't go off on my comment about "misled." We have been misled many times and likely will be again. (I consider the multiple incorrect time frames to have been misleading.)
And, my logic about $25 above might apply to $20, $15 or even (oh no) $10 depending on your risk/reward appetite and belief in management.
We have lost the strong majority of "binary decisions" for the past year. We are likely to lose the next one, if you consider a "win" to be "stop the trial for success and issue EUA now." We are probably 60/40 in favor of "continue to fill the trial", which some would consider another short-term loss.
