Yep, I agree, it's too early to sell the farm, but I think it might be advantageous to strike a partnership deal for Covid alone, selling the rights to marketing, distribution or something to cut a BP entity enough profit potential to use their FDA influence to push this treatment into the limelight, if needed, or across the finish line to EUA or outright approval, in the event we don't have a recognition deficit at the FDA. That's just my view from outside the doors of the agency; whether or not their legendary corruption has taken a back seat to the urgency of the pandemic, us outsiders can only guess. But why take the chance on being muscled to the sidelines for a year or two if BP is a participant in calling the shots and working to hold us back? Basically, we give up ~10% (a guess without data or much thought to back it up) of our potential to knock down barriers that may be there now, or may be there when we butt heads with other BPs competing for tNBC, HIV, NASH or the rest in our city phone book full of treatments being studied. I have this fear that going it alone entirely with so much potential to damage the big boys' profit margins will bring about a concerted effort to kick us to the curb that goes way beyond the media blitz of negativity/BS we've endured the past three months. We might need neck braces for this roller coaster!
