You may be correct. I am responding based on the published information that dexamethasone is helpful only in severe and critical patients.
His physicians would not administer a medication unless they thought the benefit outweighed the risk. Dexamethasone is many times more powerful than prednisone. It has very significant immune suppressing effects. That has benefits and risks. That is all I was trying to articulate. All steroids are not equal, just as all painkillers are not.
It is not the route of the drug, but the drug that matters. Fentanyl can be IV or intranasal, but is a hundred times more potent than oxycodone (Percocet).
My concern extends beyond the prospect of leronlimab. I was pleased to see Trump out and about to night, but I remain guardedly concerned.
