Respert24, it's the same scenario in sales and marketing. A new product or snack food is usually bought by a consumer only after one has seen it 5-7 times. In other words, you see a new snack package on the shelf and it looks interesting but you don't buy it the first time you see it. You come back down the aisle on your next visit to the store and see it again, and again and then finally, hey, it's still here! So the next visit to the store you see it again and the light bulb goes on and hey, I'm going to try it this time as it's been here the last 5 times or more I've been at this store.
People don't make up their minds to buy something new until the light bulb goes on. Like my products. I am talking with a store manger and we see someone buy a bag of our products and he walks out. I am still talking to the store manager and 5 minutes later that same person comes back in and buys 4 more bags.
