No whitewash involved. No bullshit either.
What is obvious is the company and JB got fined. The issue was an accounting treatment. Period.
The SEC filed charges alleging everything but mass murder against JBI and JB. The settlement was in line with an accounting misstatement.
If you spend a few minutes researching the average fines for various infractions you see that the fines were in line with accounting misstatements, not more egregious infractions that you seem to desire.
Quite defending your indefensible position.
